Hello everyone! I'm 18 years old & I've never had a perm in my life! When I was about 12 or 13 I decided that my wavy puff was too juvenile for me, and I wanted to always wear my hair straight. LAWWWWWDDY! It was a journey I had to go through to find the right stylist. I didn't want to perm my hair, something many hair dressers urged me to do, because I LOVED my texture. On the other hand I didn't always want to deal with the thick mass of curls atop my head. This is where the blog comes in. I wanted a directory of reputable hair dressers for women with ALL kinds, & textures of hair to see & use. I've specified to BLACK women because we always have such a hard time getting our heads together! LOL. My best friend just started attending Penn State, I went to visit her & ALL of her black friends are running around with neglected mops (Philly is 4 hours away). It was sad to see! LOL. So I hope this blog does a service to us, along with some humorous tales about me, my friends, and my hopefully my readers stories!
